Dindigul: During the world-renowned Srikota Mariamman temple festival in Dindigul district, officials including Inspector of Cybercrime Police Station, Dindigul District, Gunasundari Technical Sub-Inspector, Lloyd Singh, under the guidance of Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Dr. Pradeep IPS, conducted awareness sessions for devotees and the public. These sessions covered education on cybercrimes and appropriate responses, with emphasis on reporting incidents via the hotline 1930 or using the website www.cybercrime.gov.in for online complaints. Additionally, pamphlets were distributed to further disseminate information among the attendees.
