Ranchi: In a commendable effort to combat criminal activities, Tamar police station successfully carried out a meticulously planned raid, leading to the apprehension of a notorious doda smuggler. The offender was intercepted while in the act of smuggling a substantial amount of contraband, specifically 195 kg of doda. The illicit substance, known for its harmful effects, had an approximate street value of Rs.2 lakh.
The arrest took place as the perpetrator was utilizing a pick-up van as a means of transportation for their illegal merchandise. This successful operation not only prevented a significant quantity of doda from reaching its intended destination but also served as a testament to the unwavering dedication and vigilance of the Tamar police station in maintaining law and order within their jurisdiction.
