Chandigarh: The Traffic Police said commuters are advised to exercise extreme caution and drive at reduced speeds due to significant water logging at the following locations in Chandigarh:
At Sector 27/28 Traffic Lights there is substantial water accumulation at the intersection, making it hazardous for vehicles to navigate. The water logging at Sector 36/37 Lights Point which is a busy junction is causing delays and posing risks to drivers.
This route, Sector 42/43 Inner Road towards Sector 43 Judicial Academy is severely affected by water logging, leading to difficult driving conditions. The stretch between Sector 19/27 Road has reported heavy water accumulation, which could be dangerous for commuters.
The Public Health Department’s SDO has been promptly informed to address and clear these water-logged areas on a priority basis to ensure public safety. Commuters are requested to remain patient and follow traffic advisories.
