Hyderabad: On October 18, 2023, at 16:30 hours, the Bahadurpura Police conducted a vehicle check near Bahadurpura X Road and apprehended one accused person in possession of narcotic drugs, specifically 5.800 kilograms of Ganja, a Honda Activa Bike, one cell phone, and Rs. 27,000 in cash, with a total value of Rs.2,50,000.

Name: K. Akash Age: 25 years Address: Maruthi Nagar, Attapur, Ranga Reddy District.

Brief about the accused person:
The accused, Aman and K. Akash, work as car drivers and reside in the same locality. They have been involved in selling Ganja to customers in order to lead a lavish lifestyle and make easy money. Aman is currently absconding.
Modus operandi:
Aman procured Ganja and provided it to K. Akash, who then sold it in small packets to needy customers at a higher price, resulting in easy profits.
APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:
In recent times, there has been a surge in youth and students falling into drug addiction, leading to criminal activities and other antisocial behaviors. Many families have suffered due to this menace. The Hyderabad City Police earnestly implore the youth and students to steer clear of drugs. Parents are urged to monitor their children’s activities and are encouraged to approach the police or provide information via phone at 8712671111 to combat such antisocial activities and work towards a drug-free city.
The aforementioned arrests were conducted under the supervision of Mr. A. Sudhakar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Falaknuma Division, with guidance from Mr. D Anil Kumar, Inspector of Police, Bahadurpura Police Station, and Mr. N Srishylam, Detective-Inspector of Police. The arrests were carried out by Mr. A Srikanth, Sub-Inspector of Police, and the staff of Bahadurpura Police Station.
