Srikrishnapuram: During a meticulously coordinated investigation conducted by the Srikrishnapuram Police in collaboration with the District Anti-Narcotics Squad, a significant breakthrough was achieved when Nausheef, a 33-year-old individual, son of Muhammad, hailing from Pavuthanakkath Veedu in Chirakkal, Tanur, Malappuram district, was apprehended near the bustling Thiruvazhi bus stop. The arrest took place just as he arrived in Srikrishnapuram with the intention of illicitly selling drugs.
The diligent efforts of law enforcement personnel led them to uncover that the accused had procured the narcotics from Bangalore, indicating the existence of an interstate drug trafficking network. Determined to root out this menace entirely, the authorities have intensified their investigation to trace the origin of these drugs and dismantle the intricate web of drug distribution channels that the accused had been a part of.
Recent operations by the District Anti-Narcotics Squad have yielded substantial results, as they successfully seized MDMA in multiple locations, including Pattambi, Shornur, Ottapalam, Mankara, Palakkad town, Puducherry, Alathur, Vadakancherry, Trithala, and Malampuzha. The magnitude of these seizures underscores the urgency of eradicating drug-related activities from the region.
Under the able direction of Palakkad District Police Chief, Mr. R. Anand IPS, and Mannarkkad DYSP Mr. Krishnadas, the operation was meticulously planned and executed. Palakkad narcotics cell DYSP Mr. Manoj Kumar, along with the relentless efforts of Sub-Inspector Mr. Shebib Rahman.D, played crucial roles in coordinating the investigation. The dedicated team from Sree Krishnapuram Police, led by the highly capable Senior Civil Police Officers Mr. Prashanth, Mr. Kanish, and Sub-Inspector Mr. H.
