Bishnupur, Manipur, November 23: In a swift and decisive operation, Security Forces apprehended a drug peddler at the Moirang Police Station gate checkpoint in Bishnupur district. The arrested individual has been identified as Sheikh Basir Ahamad, a resident of Lilong Nungei in Thoubal district.
During the operation, the team seized three soap cases containing heroin powder weighing approximately 74 grams. The prompt action of the Security Forces has once again demonstrated their strong commitment to curbing narcotics trafficking and ensuring public safety in the region.
Authorities are continuing further investigation to identify the network behind the illegal activity.
