Bargarh: In response to specific intelligence inputs, the Jagdalpur Police Station launched a meticulously executed operation in Bargarh District, targeting illegal drug transportation. The result of this proactive effort was the confiscation of 13 kg 350 grams of Ganja, which was being illicitly transported in a motorcar.
Alongside the substantial drug seizure, law enforcement authorities also apprehended three individuals involved in the illicit activity. During the operation, two mobile phones and a sum of Rs.360/- in cash were confiscated as well.
Following their arrest, the three accused were promptly processed and subsequently presented before the court to face charges related to the illegal transportation and possession of narcotics. This successful operation underscores the commitment of the Jagdalpur Police Station to combat the menace of drug trafficking in the region.
