Vijayawada: City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, inspected the preparations for the upcoming Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations in honor of Shri Durgamalleswara Swami at Vijayawada. The event is scheduled to commence on October 15, 2023. The security measures have been put in place to ensure that all devotees can have a peaceful and joyful darshan of Ammavari. District Police Commissioner N.T.R. 2023, Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, provided valuable suggestions to the officials.
During this visit, City Police Commissioner East Jos D.C.P. Mr. Vishal Gunni, IPS, A.I.G. M. Ravindra Babu, IPS, along with other officials, inspected various areas including Ammavari Temple, Durga Ghat, Swati Center, Bhavanighat, and Kummaripalem Center. They also offered guidance to the concerned authorities. Furthermore, detailed instructions and advice were provided to police officers and officials from other departments regarding security measures at parking facilities, prasadam counters, and other relevant locations.
The program saw the participation of City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata, IPS, alongside East Jos D.C.P. Mr. Vishal Gunni, IPS, A.I.G. Mr. M. Ravindrababu, IPS, West A.CP. Dr. K. Hanumantha Rao, Traffic A.C.P. Mr. Ramachandra Rao, South A.C.P. Dr. B. Ravikiran, as well as police officers, Devasthan officers, and personnel from other departments.
