East Godavari: On 07.08.2021, the mother and her 8-year-old daughter jumped into the Godavari river at Ravulapalem and tried to commit suicide, according to information received by Dial-100 from Ravulapalem Police Station staff Mr. K. Ratna Prasad, HC, and Mr. P. Chandrasekhar, PC immediately responded and rushed to the scene and rescued them. District SP Mr. M. Rabindranath Babu, IPS specially congratulated the Ravulapalem police personnel who immediately responded to the incident and handed over certificates of appreciation to the Ravulapalem police personnel who saved their lives.
