East Godavari: In accordance with the instructions of the District Superintendent of Police (SP), an awareness program was conducted today by Circle Inspector Mr. Anasuri Srinivasa Rao in the Devarapalli Police Station Limits of East Godavari District. The aim of the program was to educate former ganja offenders and their parents about the legal consequences of drug use and to discourage them from engaging in such activities in the future.
During the program, the Circle Inspector Mr. Anasuri Srinivasa Rao emphasized the importance of leading a drug-free life and explained the legal repercussions of drug possession and distribution. He also provided guidance on the steps that the former offenders and their parents could take to stay away from drug use and prevent others from falling into the trap of drug addiction.
