Thanjavur: Precautionary measures related to the elections were disseminated to all banks, merchant associations, Tasmac shops, hotels, halls, jewellers, as well as print and digital media officers, owners, and employees in the presence of Assistant Superintendent of Police Training, Deputy Superintendents, and Police Inspectors within the Tiruvaiyar, Papanasam, and Pattukottai sub-division areas of Thanjavur District. An awareness session was held on March 20, 2024, regarding election proceedings, wherein advice and recommendations were provided.
