Rachakonda: In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana state, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mr. DS Chauhan IPS today visited the DRC Center of Arora Engineering College, Yadadri Bongiri and also visited the strong room arrangements at the field level to monitor security arrangements. Security arrangements were reviewed. After that, he visited Mothkur and Atmakuru police stations and inspected the working conditions there and gave them suitable suggestions.
Speaking on this occasion, the Police Commissioner said that they will do their best to conduct the state assembly elections in an armed manner. It is said that specific instructions related to the election duties have been given to the staff and meetings are also being held with the staff to impart knowledge and understanding on the election rules to the lower level staff performing duties at the field level. On this occasion, the commission stated that all kinds of security arrangements are being made to conduct the assembly elections in the assembly constituencies under Rachakonda without any irregularities. On this occasion, the commissioner said that old criminals are being bound over and check posts are being set up at necessary places to catch money being smuggled.
