Ensuring the unobstructed movement of 239 vehicles along NH-37 and 222 vehicles along NH-2, all laden with essential commodities, has been a paramount focus. Rigorous security protocols have been instituted across vulnerable zones, with the strategic placement of security convoys in critical stretches to guarantee not only the free flow but also the safety of these vehicular transports.
In an extensive effort to fortify security, a comprehensive network of 143 checkpoints has been strategically positioned throughout various districts of Manipur, spanning both the elevated terrains and lowland areas. This meticulous placement aims to cover the entirety of the state and meticulously address security concerns.
In response to identified violations, law enforcement authorities have taken decisive action, detaining a total of 286 individuals across diverse districts within the state. These measures collectively contribute to a robust framework ensuring the security, order, and unimpeded transportation of essential items across Manipur’s varied landscapes.
