<![CDATA[The kingpin involved in an international fake currency syndicate was arrested on May 31 from Haryana’s Rohtak by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Sunday. Fake notes valued at Rs.30,000 in the denomination of ₹2,000 each were seized from him. The chief suspect Narendra alias Secretary, who hails from Rohtak, was wanted by the Special Cell since January. His accomplice was caught in possession with fake notes valued at Rs.3 lakh. A bounty of ₹1 lakh was declared on Narendra’s arrest. The police said Narendra is a habitual criminal, trafficker and supplier of fake notes. He was arrested thrice during 2013-2014 with fake notes by the Faridabad, Sirsa, and Rohtak police. Special Cell detectives had arrested him in 2016 with fake notes with a face value of Rs.3 lakh. Over 30 cases of robbery, dacoity and smuggling of fake notes are registered against him in Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan.]]>
