Kakaraparthi Surendra is a native of Madhira, Khammam District. He discontinued his studies after 10th class and was working in private jobs. In the year 2012, he cheated his friends by collecting 12 lakh rupees to provide them Gold biscuits by procuring from his friends for a cheaper rate in London and was absconding. In this regard, a case was registered against him and his mother in Madhira Town Police Station. Since then he was absconding from Khammam. He came to the Hyderabad Uppal area in the year 2013 and was working as a Private car driver and changed his name to Putta Suresh Reddy to conceal his original name Kakaraparthi Surendra. Through his source at Secunderabad area, he prepared a fake Aadhar card, Pan Card, and Election card as his identity.
Further, he opened bank accounts in ICICI bank Uppal Branch and HDFC bank Nagole branch by submitting fake Aadhar, Pan Cards.
Later he came in contact with one Srinivas Rao N/o Khammam and Alam R/o Secunderabad who informed him of providing jobs in Railways and in Metro through the backdoor entry process and to identify students who are willing to pay 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs for securing a job in Railways/Metro. He contacted his friends in the Uppal area and informed them about the jobs in Railways/Metro without examination and took the students to Rail Nilayam and introduced them to Srinivas Rao and Alam as Railway officers who will provide them jobs in Railways/Metro directly. Students after meeting Srinivas Rao and Alam wearing Railway Identity cards and coming out from section office at Rail Nilayam believed them and about 20 students paid them 5 to 10 lakhs each and gave him all their educational certificates and were waiting for the appointment orders.
As both Srinivas Rao, Alam were delaying in issuing appointment orders, students started pressurizing Surendra to return back their amount or to give appointment orders. Later Srinivas Rao and Alam issued appointment orders and switched off their mobile phones. On suspicion, the students approached Rail Nilayam and came to know that it was fake appointment orders. Immediately students approached Surendra to return back their money.
Surendra who collected about Rs.2 Crore from students has invested money in his business. He opened Om Sai Travels at Uppal by purchasing four-wheeler vehicles. He also opened a private Om Security service office in the Uppal area which is still operating. He also invested money in a canteen at Jedcherla by investing about 25 lakhs in purchasing goods. He purchased one flat in his mother’s name in the Boduppal area worth Rs.40 lakhs. He spent money on purchasing costly household articles and for his lavish lifestyle. He also invested money in his associate Dachipally Suresh resident of Uppal who is looking after the business activities and supporting Surendra in his dealings. Surendra’s wife Nagalakshmi was also involved with her husband Surendra in doing illegal activities and she knew and was encouraging him.
As pressure was mounting on Surendra to return back their money by students and all of sudden in the month of June he along with his wife escaped from the Boduppal area and switched off all his mobile numbers. Since then his whereabouts were not known. Subsequently, when the students approached Medipally Police in October month a case was registered against Surendra, his wife, and others. After making sincere efforts he was arrested today at early hours on receiving information that he came to his flat for shifting the articles. A case is also registered at Uppal Police Station for cheating complainant Mr. Ramanjaneylu by taking an amount of Rs.5.5 lakhs in the guise of providing Railway jobs.
