Haryana, Fatehabad, May 2: In a firm step toward maintaining law and order, the Sadar Tohana Police have achieved a notable success by arresting 10 individuals involved in illegal gambling and seizing ₹29,000 in cash.
This decisive action was carried out under the directions of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, IPS, and the supervision of DSP Umed Singh. The operation was led by SHO Shadi Ram and executed by a patrolling team under Head Constable Jaiveer Singh, based on a credible tip-off.
Acting swiftly, the police team raided a location in Jamalpur Shekhan, where the accused were caught red-handed engaging in gambling activities. All ten individuals — identified as Pola, Bunty Ram, Monu, Chhinder, Prem Kumar, Prem Singh, Rinku, Jagdish, Chhinda, and Guddu — were apprehended on the spot.
A case has been registered under the Gambling Act at the Sadar Tohana Police Station, and further legal action is underway.
