Fatehabad, Haryana, July 17: In a commendable initiative focused on child safety and cyber awareness, the Fatehabad Police continues to lead the way in organizing impactful public outreach programmes across the district.
Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, an awareness session was held today at the Government School in Dhingsara village, led by Lady ASI Talwinder Kaur and Head Constable Sharda of Bhattu Kalan Police Station.
The programme aimed to educate students—especially girls—on digital safety, protection against cyber fraud, and understanding sensitive issues like sexual abuse. Using simple and relatable language, the officers informed students about identifying cyber frauds, suspicious calls, fake links, and social media threats, and encouraged them to report anything unusual to trusted adults such as parents or teachers.
Students were also taught the difference between good touch and bad touch, and were encouraged to speak up fearlessly in any uncomfortable situation. The session further included basic self-defence techniques, helping the students build confidence to protect themselves if needed.
The school staff expressed their sincere appreciation to the Fatehabad Police and requested that such awareness programmes be conducted regularly to keep the spirit of safety and self-reliance alive among children.
Fatehabad Police urges the general public to stay alert, safeguard children, and report any suspicious activity immediately. A safe society begins with alert and empowered children.
