Fatehabad, Haryana | May 12, 2025: In a proactive effort to strengthen law enforcement preparedness and public safety, a general parade and emergency mock drill were successfully conducted at the Fatehabad Police Lines today under the supervision of Superintendent of Police, Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS.
The event showcased the discipline, agility, and coordination of the police force, as officers participated in rigorous parade inspections, physical drills, and riot-control simulations. The SP personally reviewed the performance of the personnel, providing strategic inputs and calling for enhancements wherever necessary.
Sharpening Skills through Realistic Training
To prepare the force for critical situations such as riots, disasters, or mass unrest, specialized anti-riot units took part in practical exercises. These included crowd control maneuvers, tactical use of tear gas launchers, concealed shields, baton techniques, and constitutional methods of handling antisocial elements. Officers were trained to act swiftly while maintaining restraint, professionalism, and public trust.
Building a Responsive and Capable Force
The mock drill emphasized the importance of field preparedness and team coordination, with participation from DSPs, Inspectors, and officers from various police stations across the district. Experts led the sessions to guide personnel on best practices and lawful engagement with the public.
SP Siddhant Jain reiterated that the ultimate objective is to maintain a force that is alert, equipped, and capable of delivering a swift response in any situation. He praised the dedication of the officers and encouraged continued efforts towards discipline, vigilance, and community-focused policing.
