Fatehabad, Haryana, June 24: Continuing its strong efforts under the crime-free campaign led by Superintendent of Police Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, Fatehabad Police achieved another breakthrough by arresting the third accused involved in an attempted theft at a dhani (farmhouse) in village Kajalheri.
The arrested youth, identified as Amit alias Mota, son of Ramniwas and resident of Jodka village in Sirsa district, was apprehended based on sustained investigation and collected evidence. Earlier, police had already arrested two other accused — Omprakash, son of Sube Singh, and Bunty, son of Bilar Singh — in connection with the same case.
Providing details, Inspector Kuldeep, Station House Officer of Sadar Police Station, Fatehabad, said that the incident took place on April 25, following a complaint by Surendra Kumar, a resident of Kajalheri. According to the complaint, Surendra was asleep in his dhani located on Kumhariya Road, when suspicious noises woke him. Upon checking, he spotted intruders attempting to flee — one was caught by family members while others escaped on a motorcycle.
The police responded immediately and took the apprehended youth into custody. Through diligent investigation, the police have now arrested the third suspect involved. The investigation remains ongoing, with further leads and aspects under active review.
