Fatehabad, Haryana, July 9: Demonstrating a perfect blend of technology and public service, the Fatehabad Police, under the dynamic leadership of Superintendent of Police Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, returned 10 high-value smartphones—worth approximately ₹8 lakh—to their rightful owners. This initiative is part of a larger ongoing effort, which has seen 106 lost mobile phones traced and returned, reinforcing public trust and showcasing the force’s technological efficiency.

The commendable feat was achieved by the Cyber Cell team led by Inspector Satish Kumar and Assistant Sub-Inspector Ramnaresh, who utilized IMEI tracking and other advanced techniques to trace and recover the devices. Once identified, the rightful owners were contacted and the mobiles were returned following due legal process.

Citizens who received their mobile phones back included:

SP’s Message:
“Returning a lost mobile is not just a technical achievement; it represents the emotions, hopes, and trust of our citizens,” said SP Siddhant Jain. “Our mission is to serve the people with sensitivity and commitment while continually upgrading our technological capabilities to tackle cybercrime and digital fraud.”

Police Appeal:
Fatehabad Police urges citizens not to panic in case of lost or stolen mobile phones. They can visit the nearest police station or file an online complaint. “Fatehabad Police is always ready to serve you with full dedication,” the statement added.
