Fatehabad, Haryana, July 13: Reaffirming the commitment to national security and public order, Fatehabad Superintendent of Police, Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, has issued firm instructions to all police station and outpost in-charges to identify and act against illegal foreign nationals, particularly Bangladeshi citizens, residing unlawfully in the district.
The SP directed the police force to conduct targeted verification drives at brick kilns, construction sites, warehouses, factories, and temporary labor colonies, where the presence of undocumented migrants is suspected. Officers have been instructed to thoroughly verify the identity and citizenship documents of workers at these locations. Any individual found without valid legal documents will be detained and processed for deportation through proper legal channels.
Emphasizing the seriousness of the issue, SP Siddhant Jain stated,
“No one will be allowed to stay illegally. If someone wants to remain in the country, they must show valid documents—otherwise, they will be sent back to the international border.”
To ensure seamless execution of the operation, the SP has mandated inter-departmental coordination involving the Revenue Department, Intelligence Units, and local administration. The campaign aims not only at law enforcement but also at strengthening internal security, safeguarding social stability, and curbing organized crimes.
Brick kiln owners, contractors, and industrial employers have been specifically warned not to hire undocumented or suspicious individuals, with a clear message that violators will also be held accountable.
The SP also made it clear that officers showing negligence or leniency in these matters will face accountability. All actions will be taken strictly in accordance with legal procedures and under the supervision of local Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs).
This initiative is a part of Fatehabad Police’s broader strategy to maintain national integrity and lawfulness within the district, ensuring that no unlawful presence goes unchecked.
