Tiruvarur: In view of the 2024 Parliamentary Elections, in the areas identified as troubled polling stations in Poontotam area under Nannilam Assembly Constituency of Tiruvarur District, under the leadership of Mr. S. Jayakumar, M.Sc, (Agri), Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District on (30.03.2024) a flag parade was held. Flag marches were held in areas identified as troubled polling stations so that the public could exercise their democratic duty (voting) without fear. Tiruvarur District Police and Central Security Force personnel marched in the flag parade. At that time, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nannilam Sub Division, Mr. R. Saravanakumar was present.
