Perambalur: The normality of the people living there has been greatly affected as floods have occurred due to unprecedented heavy rains in southern districts. Therefore, in order to help them, under the leadership of District Police Superintendent Mrs. S. Shyamla Devi IPS, on behalf of Perambalur District Police, 300 families were given flood relief items including rice, wheat, semolina, tea powder, coffee powder, bread, biscuits, chili powder, coriander powder, oil, etc. Rs.2, 67,800 worth of essential groceries were dispatched. As per instructions of Perambalur District Superintendent of Police Mrs.S.Shyamla Devi, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr.T.Mathiyazhagan (head) dispatched the essential materials to be distributed. Perambalur Utkota Deputy Superintendent Mr. A. Palanichamy Special Division Police Inspector Mr. Venkateshwaran Perambalur Police Inspector Mr. Sakthivel Mangalamedu Police Inspector Mr. Balaji participated in this event.
