Aurangabad, Bihar: In a major breakthrough, Bihar Police successfully solved two separate theft cases reported under the limits of Daudnagar Police Station, leading to the arrest of four accused persons.
The thefts occurred on 12.02.2026 and 20.02.2026, during which unidentified miscreants stole gold and silver jewellery along with brass utensils from residential houses in Daudnagar.
Following the incidents, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted. Acting on CCTV footage analysis, technical evidence, and confidential inputs, the team conducted targeted raids and apprehended all four accused. The stolen property was recovered based on their identification.
Police recovered a substantial quantity of gold and silver jewellery worth approximately ₹60 lakh, along with brass utensils weighing about 17.457 kilograms.
The swift action of the police in cracking both cases has been widely appreciated and reflects the department’s commitment to ensuring public safety and prompt investigation of property offences.
