Karnataka, Bengaluru: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of four people on the Bengaluru-Tumkur National Highway near Dabaspet in Nelamangala taluk earlier on 11.4.2025. The victims were traveling to Tumkur to attend a naming ceremony when their car lost control and crashed into a road divider.
The deceased have been identified as Gopal (45), Gopal (60), Sashikala (55), and Deepika (35). Two children who were also in the vehicle sustained injuries and have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment, according to police sources.
The accident caused significant traffic disruption along the busy highway, with the Nelamangala traffic police stepping in to manage the situation. Superintendent of Police for the Bangalore Rural Division, C.K. Baba, visited the scene to oversee the investigation and assess the situation.
