Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur: In a raid conducted against online lottery ticket sales in Thiruvarur district, four persons involved in online lottery sales were arrested in the area of Mannargudi City Police Station. The arrested persons are Senthil Kumar (54/24), Rajendran (51/24), Krishnamoorthy (52/24), Govindaraj (54/24). Thiruvarur District Superintendent of Police Mr. S. Jayakumar M.Sc. ,(Agri)., commended the officers and policemen who worked well and arrested those involved in online lottery sales. Furthermore, District Superintendent of Police Mr. S. Jayakumar, M.Sc. (Agri), has warned that strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal liquor sales, sand smuggling, and online lottery sales under the Prevention of Gangsters Act, in addition to continuing to use prohibited drugs.
