Perambalur: According to the complaint filed by the Perambalur District Crime Branch (Crime No. 04/23 U/), it has been alleged that an individual named Rathanasamy, who is the son of Thanavel and resides in East Street, Alathur Circle, Alampadi Village, Perambalur District, engaged in fraudulent activities. Rathanasamy is accused of defrauding another person by luring him with a promise of a 10 percent monthly profit if he invested in a company called JNR Trading.
Subsequently, a case was registered, and an investigation was initiated under sections 417 and 420 of the Penal Code. The defendants in the case were identified as follows:
Jayapal from Kadiapatnam Village, Kanyakumari District.
Radhika from 28/23, G/P Madan, Vishnupuram, Erachakulam, Dovalai Circle, Kanyakumari District.
Out of the two defendants, Radhika was apprehended and placed in custody.
In relation to this case, on May 31, 2023, the Perambalur District Crime Branch Police arrested a third defendant named Dharmalingam at his residence, located at 57/23 T/B Thanapal Vidyakudi Village, Lalgudi Circle, Tiruchi District. Following the arrest, Dharmalingam was brought to the police station and subsequently sent to judicial custody.
