Hyderabad City: To commemorate Swatantra Bharata Vajrotsava Dwi Saptaham, the Hyderabad City Police organized a freedom run. Hon’ble Home Minister, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali , Animal husbandry Minister, Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography along with other dignitaries flagged off the 5k freedom run which started from the iconic Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center.
Prior to this the guests addressed the youngsters and rekindled the history of the nation before Independence and recalled the struggle and sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
As the cool monsoon breeze and the musical warm-up sessions ignited a relaxing vibe, the police personnel and their family members , general public participated in the event with excitement and patriotic fervor. As part of the program, a 300 meter national flag was carried in the 5K run.
City Police Commissioner Mr.CV Anand IPS welcomed and congratulated all the participants while the Chief secretary Sri Somesh kumar encouraged them to engage in fitness and community-betterment activities and called upon the youngsters to draw inspiration from the freedom fighters whose dedication and commitment to the nation laid a bright path for future generations.

Ramesh IPS Jt.CP. Admn, Mr. P.Viswa Prasad IPS Jt. CP SB, Mr. AV Ranganath IPS Jt. CP. Traffic, Mr. Gajarao Bhupal IPS Jt. CP. CCS DD and several other officers of city police attended the event along with a very high participation of 4000 students and industry members.
