As my mountaineering begins:
In 2012 I went on a trip to Manasarovar. A 45-day mountaineering course must be completed before climbing Mount Everest. Two other constables along with me applied for this. I put it to the department for permission. The mountaineering course is to be done in Kashmir. Additional DG Rajeev Trivedi said it was not safe to send the lady officer far. I was ready to give permission anyway, privately put the money and put the plan be. I had the opportunity as I could not find a reservation for the two constables in the meantime.
I climbed peaks on six continents:
I heard the Seven Summit Challenge. I aimed to climb the highest peaks on seven continents. In an effort to that end, I first climbed Mount Golip Kangri (5995 m) on September 7, 2013, within the Jaskar Range in Ladakh. Then I climbed Mount Mentosa (6443 meters) in Himachal Pradesh and Mount Kun (7007 meters) in Kargil.
I started with Everest (8848 m) on May 20, 2016 as part of the Seven Summit Challenge. Then I climbed Kilimanjaro (Africa), Kosciuszko on the Australian continent, Elbrus on the European continent, Aconcagua on the South American continent, Vincent Mountain on the Antarctic continent, and Denali Mountain. I’m back in Alaska, North America, about 300 meters away. In 2021 I climbed Mount Iceland in Nepal. After joining the police force at AP Police Academy, Hyderabad, I tried to climb all the peaks as part of my physical activities. I was able to achieve all these achievements when I joined the duties as a DSP. SP GR Radhika said she climbed Mount Everest when she was Additional SP, setting records as the first Indian woman to climb Mount Kun and the first woman police officer to climb Everest.
