Chief Minister Dr. Yadav assessed the dog squad’s training and health system

This evening, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the musical program presented by the Madhya Pradesh Police Band under the Swar Megh program at Motilal Nehru Police Stadium. The newly formed police band captivated the audience with their musical performances. Dr. Yadav congratulated all the members of the police force for their excellent performance and praised their skills. Backward Class Welfare Minister Mrs. Krishna Gaur and Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai were also present at the program.

About 330 policemen in the state have been trained as members of the police band, and they will perform in various districts on Independence Day. Following Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s vision, Madhya Pradesh Police personnel interested in music received training in band playing. Dr. Yadav remarked on the wonderful performance at the ‘Swar Megh’ program, emphasizing the dedication and patriotism of the police personnel. He expressed his admiration for the police’s hard work and commitment to security and service.

Dr. Yadav recalled his early days in office when he proposed establishing police bands in all districts, a challenging task that has now been successfully completed due to the police’s determination. He noted that at the time of independence, most districts had police bands, but their numbers dwindled as officers retired. This presented a challenge that the police aimed to overcome by 15 August 2024, and he expressed happiness that this goal had been achieved. Now, police band performances will be held in every district on Independence Day.

Dr. Yadav stated that police bands will be established in all districts of the state, with proper recruitments to support this initiative. He mentioned that 340 policemen have voluntarily started police bands in all districts, showcasing their determination and dedication. He highlighted that today’s achievements will be remembered as a significant milestone in the history of Madhya Pradesh Police.

Dr. Yadav outlined several important decisions made by the state government for the MP Police, including the recruitment of 7,500 new posts and the inauguration of a 50-bed police hospital in Bhopal. Additionally, if a Madhya Pradesh Police officer is martyred, 50 percent of the one crore rupees compensation will go to the spouse and 50 percent to the parents. The police have also redrawn the boundaries of police stations, that benefit 22,000 villages. Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that the Madhya Pradesh Police will continue to create a strong identity through their dedicated service.

Police band strengthens the bond between the public and police: DGP Mr. Saxena

DGP Mr. Sudhir Kumar Saxena stated that under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s direction, police brass bands have been established in all police units of the state. The initiative envisioned by Dr. Yadav is enhancing the police force’s performance and fostering closer relations between the police and the public, instilling enthusiasm and patriotism. The sound waves of the police band create a sense of pride and patriotism in the community. Whether it’s a national festival or any other occasion, the event feels incomplete without the band’s presence. The patriotic tunes played by the police band inspire citizens and reinforce the police personnel’s commitment to patriotism and public service. Policemen in Madhya Pradesh are excelling in this field compared to other states in the country.

The police band performed these tunes:

The Police Brass Band delivered a rhythmic performance at the ‘Swar Megh’ program held at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. The program featured captivating performances of songs like “Sawan Ka Mahina Pawan Kare Shor,” “Vande Mataram,” “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo,” “Brazil,” “Yaari Hai Imaan Mera,” “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola,” and “Jai Ho.” The band also performed melodies of Fanfare, Quick March, Slow March, Standing Display, and Drum Beating, which enthralled the audience. The musical notes played by the police personnel filled the attendees with enthusiasm, while the patriotic and nationalistic tunes instilled a sense of patriotism, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.

330 trainees of Madhya Pradesh Police received intensive training:

From January 10, 2024, a 90-day training program was conducted, where 100 police officers and employees received intensive training in band playing and musical instruments at the Training Center of Madhya Pradesh Special Armed Force, 7th Battalion Bhopal, 107 at First Battalion Indore, and 123 at Sixth Battalion Jabalpur. Policemen from all battalions in the state participated to achieve the goal of establishing bands in all units. After completing the training, these trained officers and employees were deployed to their respective districts to prepare for the August 15, 2024, parade in 49 districts. Band teams have already been formed in six districts, ensuring parades with band teams in all 55 districts of the state this Independence Day.

Trainees of Madhya Pradesh Police create history:

During the ‘Swar Megh’ program, it was highlighted that, following Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s instructions, Madhya Pradesh Police sent 19 employees to BSF’s premier band training school in Bangalore for a six-month advanced course. The trainees learned musical instrument playing, drill with instruments, theory classes, and music notation. On June 14, the Director General of Police met the master trainers who excelled in the Advanced Band Course, placing first, second, and third. This achievement is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh Police, showcasing their excellence and dedication.
