Balodabazar: The Balodabazar-Bhatapara district police apprehended five individuals for engaging in gambling near the Sirsola pond in Lavan. The confiscated items included Rs. 50,320 in cash and a set of 52 playing cards. The arrested individuals are as follows:
Sunaram Patel, son of Tiharu, aged 35, residing in Amlidih police station area, Pachpedi district, Bilaspur.
Kamata Prasad, son of Pardeshi Dhuru, residing in Dagori police station area, Bilha district, Bilaspur.
Laxman Bhardwaj, son of Anand, aged 34, residing in Dagori police station area, Bilha district, Bilaspur.
Radheshyam Ratre, son of Puneet Ram Ratre, aged 44, resident of Lavan.
Aditya Tandon, son of Kishore Kumar, aged 22, residing in Ghatchaura police station area, Pachpedi district, Bilaspur.
