Hyderabad City: The Gandhinagar Police of Central Zone worked out clues and detected one Grave robbery which occurred on 13.1.2022 at 12:30 pm at SBI Colony, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad. The unknown offender approached the complainant in the guise of taking the 1st-floor portion on rent and on the point of the knife the offender robbed away the Gold Jewelry from the neck of the complainant, all weighing about 9.00 tolas.
The Gandhinagar police made excellent use of technical tools, gathered numerous CCTV footages nearby the scene as on the approach and escape routes and found the crime vehicle, Honda Shine bearing registration No: TS-13 EK 1244 nearby Kavadiguda Lane, used recognition software, carried out the analysis and with the assistance of Traffic Personnel, the Gandhinagar police identified that the assailant using the bike by fixing fake number plate. However, the Gandhinagar police identified and apprehended the accused persons and succeeded in arresting them on 17.1.2022. The arrested accused is being produced in the Court for judicial remand.
The details of the arrested accused persons are Kavati Raju (21) of Mahboobabad District, Poojari Saikumar Goud (29) of Ranga Reddy District, and Injamuri Dinesh Kumar alias Dinnu (20) of Ranga Reddy District.
On 13.1.2022 at about 12:30 pm one stranger approached the complainant, Mrs. Shoba, on the pretext of taking a 1st-floor portion on rent and while showing the portion the unknown person robbed away from her Gold Pusthelathadu, weighing about 4.00 tolas and Gold Nallapusala Thadu, weighing about 5.00 tolas from the neck of the complainant and sped away from there on Honda Shine Bike while committing the offense in order to divert the incident the stranger inflicted minor knife cut injury over the hand of Caretaker.
The accused persons Kavati Raju and Poojari Sai Kumar Goud are friends, while Dinesh Kumar is the friend of Poojari Sai Kumar Goud. In order to purchase Bikes the accused Kavati Raju, Poojari Sai Kumar Goud, and Dinesh Kumar hatched a plan to commit property offenses, as per their plan on the advice of Kavita Raju who is Caretaker of the complainant house, on 13.1.2022 his friend Sai Kumar Goud approached the complainant on the guise of taking a 1st-floor portion on rent when she was showing him the portion the Caretaker Raju pushed her at the same time Sai Kumar Goud snatched away the Gold Pusthelathadu and Gold Nallapusala Thadu from her neck while fleeing from the scene on the advice of Caretaker Raju his friend Sai Kumar Goud took out a knife his bag and inflicted knife cut injury on his hand so that no one could suspect him and Sai Kumar Goud sped away from there and joined with his friend Dinesh Kumar who was waiting at a distance along with Bike, then they both ran away from there on the bike.
Property recovered by the police are Gold Pusthelathadu, weighing about 4.00 tolas and Gold Nallapusalathadu with the locket of Maatha, weighing about 5.00 tolas, one Two-wheeler HondaShine bike, three mobile phones, Knife, Cash Rs.27000/- and handbag which was used at the time of offense by accused person Sai Kumar.
The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Mr. P. Viswa Prasad, IPS, Jt. Commissioner of Police HFAC DCP, Central Zone with the assistance of Mr. Ch. Sridhar, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Chikkadpally Division, and Inspector of Police Mr. N. Mohan Rao of Gandhinagar police station with the direct participation of DI Mr. P. Pramod Kumar, Sls Mr. A. Shekar, Mr. P. Prem Kumar of Chikkadpally Police Station and PCs Mr. Shaik Madar Basha, Mr. S.M. Gowtham Raj, Mr. B. Sai Kumar, Mr. C. Bharath Kumar, Mr. P. Srikanth Kumar of Gandhinagar police station, Mr. T. Ravi Kumar, PC, Mr. D. Raghavendar Rao, PC, Mr. B. Sailoo, PC of Abid Road Police Station.
