Hyderabad: On Credible information, On 16.7.2022 at about 6:30 am IST the Joint operation conducted by Special Zonal Crime Team(West Zone) ,CCS and Chaderghat police Intercepted one Mahindra Bolero vehicle bearing registration number AP05 TC 9531 at New Malakpet Market near Metro pillar no 1460 and upon search found 3 white Polythene bags covered by leafy dining plates(vistarakulu).
On enquiry the driver and other person travelling in the vehicle revealed that they procured dry Ganja leaves from Chintapalli forest and bringing to Hyderabad to sell it to needy customers for good price. After following all the procedures under NDPS Act the following suspects were taken into custody by the team and seized 3 Polythene bags containing 30 packets and each packet contains 2200 Grams (2.2KG) total weighing 66 Kg’s Wrapped with brown packing tape to conceal Ganja leaves.
The accused persons were identified as Muvvala Nagarjuna(33) S/o M.Arjuna, Nammi Tataji(25) S/o N.Appala Naidu both from Andhra Pradesh.
The police seized 3 Polythene bags containing 30 packets and each packet contains 2200 Grams (2.2KG) total weighing 66 Kg’s Wrapped with brown packing tape.
Under the supervision of Ms. Sneha Mehra, IPS, Addl. DCP (Admin), CCS, DD, Crime Team ACP Mr. Harish Kaushik, the West Zone Crime team Mr. N.Anand Inspector, Mr. S. Karunakar Reddy SI , Mr. Md.Imran PC, Mr. Alexander HC, Mr.Tony Martin HC, Mr. Khajawaliuddin PC, Mr. Vinay Yadav PC, Mr. N.Purna Chnadra Rao and Mr. Polishetty Sateesh, Inspector of Police, Chaderghat Police Station and his team made efforts to nab the accused persons.
