Ganjam: Sanakhemundi is a Block placed in Ganjam district in Odisha. It is situated in rural area of Odisha, it is one among the 22 blocks of Ganjam district. Two persons were attacked by the villagers on suspicion of practicing sorcery. They sustained grievous injuries and were rushed to Aska hospital for treatment.
This incident occurred in Madhurjhola village under Kabisuryanagar police station limits of Ganjam district.
On being attacked by the villagers the two persons who were grievous wounded were immediately taken to Aska hospital for treatment. On informing the incident, the police reached the spot and detained nine villagers for interrogation.
