Aurangabad: In the Nabinagar police station area of Aurangabad District, a tragic incident has unfolded involving a young girl who left her home to attend coaching classes and never returned. When she failed to come back, her worried family filed a First Information Report (FIR) alleging her kidnapping.
On June 13, 2024, the girl’s body was discovered in a large canal near the Indra Puri police station, bringing a heartbreaking end to the search. Following the discovery, a post-mortem examination was conducted, and her body was subsequently handed over to her grieving family.
In response to this heinous crime, the Superintendent of Police has directed the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ensure a thorough and meticulous investigation. This team is headed by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) and is tasked with exploring all possible leads and angles to uncover the truth behind the incident. The SDPO has been proactive in sharing the emerging facts from the ongoing investigation with the public to maintain transparency and trust.
