Goa: The Goa Police launched the Pink Force Goa Police which is an elite woman force of Goa Police- a new dimension to policing which is a pioneering step in women’s safety. The Chief Minister of Goa Dr.Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Pink Force in the presence of the DGP of Goa Mr.ID. Shukla IPS. It aims to prevent crimes against women, children.
The DGP of Goa said in case women or children are facing problems they can call and lodge a complaint with 112 or 100 then the Pink force will reach the spot within 5 minutes and solve the problem. Pink Force will also patrol the state and provide medical aid to women in need.
