Goa: Due to the increase in the number of vacant posts of police constables the Goa is re-advertising the vacant post of the police constable. Applications in prescribed forms are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 913 vacant posts of a police constable in the Goa Police Department.
For Male candidates, the vacancies available are 767 and for female candidates, the vacancies available are 146.
Out of the 767 vacancies for male candidates, the vacancies available for scheduled casts are 19, Scheduled Tribe is 115, Other backward classes is 262, Economically weaker section is 3, unreserved is 341, 20 vacancies are reserved for sportsmanship 9 vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
Out of the 146 vacancies for female candidates, the vacancies available for scheduled casts are 3, Scheduled Tribe is 18, other backward class is 39, Economically weaker section is 15, unreserved is 71, and 12 vacancies are reserved for sportsmanship.
The Pay Matrix level-2 is Rs.19900/- to Rs.63200/-. The application forms completed in all respects should be submitted at the counter opened to accept the application forms at the police Headquarters, Panaji, Goa, Bicholim Police Station, Mapusa Police Station, Ponda Police Station, Curchorem Police Station, Margao Police Station, and Vasco Police station between 10 Hours and 17 Hours on all days except Sunday on or before 26.5.2021.
