Sonipat: The police of Police Station Sector-27 Sonipat district has arrested the accused involved in the incident of raping and threatening to kill the victim. The arrested accused has been identified as Sombir alias Sonu son of Jai Bhagwan resident of Garh Shahjanpur district Sonepat.
Due to the lockdown caused by COVID-19, the Sonepat Police have continuously been making appeals to the people to follow the guidelines set by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. The Sonepat Police launched a special campaign to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and during the campaign have issued challans to 212 persons and 247 drivers without masks and 5 vehicles have been confiscated.
In another incident, the police of police station Rai of the district have arrested the accused involved in the attempted fraud incident.

The arrested accused Ramchandra and Vishnu alias Baljinder son of Dashrath are residents of Sahiya Bujurag district, Jalaun, U.P. Hall Sun Sign Society, Badkhalsa, district Sonepat.
