Jamtara: Under the directives of the Superintendent of Police, Jamtara District, a weekly public grievance redressal program was organized at the Bindapathar police station in Jamtara district. During this session, several villagers expressed their concerns regarding significant challenges they were facing in conducting financial transactions at their local bank. Many reported frequent delays and difficulties in accessing basic banking services, which were causing considerable inconvenience in their day-to-day lives, particularly for those relying on timely transactions for livelihood and essential needs.
In response to these grievances, the police station in-charge took immediate action by engaging in direct communication with the bank manager. A meeting was promptly arranged to discuss the villagers’ concerns and find a practical resolution. Through collaborative efforts, the bank manager was made aware of the gravity of the situation, and a solution was devised to ensure smoother banking services for the affected villagers. The proactive involvement of the police ensured that the issue was resolved efficiently, demonstrating their commitment to community welfare and responsiveness to public concerns.
