Gandhinagar, Gujarat, July 9: A high-level meeting of senior Gujarat Police officials was convened under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Harsh Sanghvi, with the special presence of State Director General of Police Shri Vikas Sahay, to review the state’s law and order situation.
The meeting focused on strategies to further strengthen Gujarat’s internal security framework. Discussions covered a range of critical issues including drug control, action against loan sharks, and measures to curb anti-social activities.
During the session, Shri Harsh Sanghvi lauded the Gujarat Police for their unwavering dedication and effective campaigns, particularly in cracking down on drug trafficking networks and unauthorized moneylenders, as well as their firm stance against anti-social elements.
The Hon’ble Minister also emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in proactive policing and assured continued support from the Home Department in all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens of Gujarat.
