Guna: District Superintendent of Police Mr. Rajiv Kumar Mishra IPS has been directed to conduct a special campaign against the drug mafia. In accordance with these instructions, the Mrigwas police station has arrested an inter-state smuggler who smuggled the illegal drug Dodachura. Mrigwas police station in-charge Uni Rajendra Singh Chauhan had received information that a person carrying illegal narcotic Doda Chura is coming from village Jamonya Khurd towards village Vakanya by motorcycle without number. As soon as the information was received, the Mrigwas station in charge immediately sent a team of police to the place mentioned by the informer.
The team laid siege at the place mentioned by the informer and caught Chhotulal alias Rai Singh son Ishwarlal Gurjar, aged 25 years, resident of village Surdiveh, police station Harnawada, district Wara, Rajasthan. On searching a jute sack tied on the person’s motorcycle, 17 kg of illegal narcotic Dodachura worth Rs 80 thousand were found in it. The police have duly seized the Dodachura and the motorcycle found from the accused and arrested the accused. A case has been established against the accused under the NDPS Act in Mrigwas police station and has been taken up for investigation.
