Gwalior : Superintendent of Police Mr. Amit Sanghi IPS received information from the Guna Police that a minor girl kidnapped from Dharnavada police station area of Guna district has been seen under Maharapura police station area of Gwalior city. Based on this information the Superintendent of Police directed the City Superintendent of Police (East/Crime) Mr. Rajesh Dandotia to form a crime branch team and search for the kidnapper. City Superintendent of Police (East/Crime) Addl. in coordination with City Superintendent of Police (Central/Traffic) Mrs. Mrigakhi Deka, a joint team of Crime Branch and Police Station Maharajpura was sent to get the minor girl safely freed.
According to the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of CSP Murar/Crime Mr. Rishikesh Meena and CSP Maharajpura Mr. Ravi Bhadauria, the joint team of police was deployed by the police station in-charge Crime Branch and police station in-charge Maharajpura to trace the kidnapper as per the information of the informer. On the basis of technical evidence and informer’s information, the police team reached near Chambal Gate located under Maharajpura police station area. On reaching the said spot the police team saw a girl standing with a suspicious person. On inquiry by the police team, it was found that the said girl was abducted from Dharnavada police station area. The accused was caught by the police team and the minor girl was freed and informed to police station Dharnavada district Guna.
It may be known that on December 07, the complainant lodged a report of the disappearance of her minor daughter from Dharnavada police station of district Guna. From which the crime was established in Thana Dharnavada and taken into consideration. During the deliberations, police team of Dharnavada police station had received information that the abducted was kept hidden by the accused in Thana Maharajpura area of Gwalior district.
