Gwalior : On January 3, information was received at Maharajpura Police Station that some unknown miscreants beat up the collection agent of Bandhan Bank, snatched Rs. 62,900 cash, Samsung company’s tab and Morphy device behind Dana Baba Mandir. Taking the robbery incident seriously, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Amit Sanghi IPS directed Additional Superintendent of Police Gwalior City (Central/Traffic) Mrs. Mrigakhi Deka IPS to arrest the accused in the robbery incident. Acting under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Gwalior City (Central/Traffic) Mrs. Mrigakhi Deka and CSP Maharajpura Mr. Ravi Bhadauria, the Police Station Maharajpura team has succeeded in exposing the robbery incident in just 6 hours. Following the instructions of senior officers, under the guidance of CSP Maharajpura Mr. Ravi Bhadauria, Police Station Maharajpura police team under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Maharajpura Inspector Mr. Pankaj Tyagi was deputed to arrest the accused who carried out the robbery incident. The CCTV footage around the spot of the incident was scrutinized by the police team. On the basis of technical evidence and CCTV footage that came during the investigation, the suspects and the motorcycle used in the incident were identified and searched.
The teams engaged in the search for the robbery accused came to know that out of the four miscreants, two miscreants are from Gwalior city and two miscreants are residents of Satanbada and Lahar area. On the basis of information, different police teams were sent to nab the accused. Two miscreants were caught by the police team from Gwalior and two others from Satanbada and Lahar area. On interrogating the arrested accused, they told that they accepted to carry out the robbery with the collection agent. 62 thousand 900 rupees in cash, Samsung company’s tab, Morphy device and the motorcycle used in the incident were recovered from the possession of the four miscreants. The said arrested miscreants are being interrogated in connection with other incidents of loot in the city. It may be known that the complainant Manoj Kumar s/o Ramavatar Singh Jatav resident of Tudila police station Malanpur district Bhind appeared at the police station Maharajpura and filed a report that I work as Relationship Officer in Bandhan Bank Tansen Nagar. On January 2 at around 08.00 am, Yadav had gone to Mohalla Kilagat for recovery of Karishma Group collection money from Bandhan Bank Tansen Nagar.
Where I collected Rs. 21,350 from the people associated with the group, after that I collected Rs.41,550 from the people associated with the Mamta group in village Lakhmipur, after that I am going from Lakhmipur to Char Shahar Naka on my motorcycle. As soon as I reached at around 10.00 am on the road before Hajira bridge in Shatabdipuram Phase- 3 behind Danababa Temple, three unknown boys were standing on the road side, who stopped my motorcycle by standing in front and one of them picked up a stone. I was hit in the head due to which my head started bleeding and a boy caught me from behind and the third boy forcefully took out Rs.41,550 of the collection kept in my pocket and my recovery black color bag in which my Samsung company Tab, Morphy device and Rs.21,350 were snatched. The said three boys snatched my bag and Rs 62900/- and ran away with the red and black Honda Dream numberless motorcycle kept on the nearby road towards Mau hill. On the report of the complainant, the case of MPDPK Act was registered in Police Station Maharajpura and taken into consideration.
