Chandigarh: The Harayana Police arrested an absconding criminal who was involved in several serious criminal cases. It was a great achievement for the police when they succeded in arresting the criminal identified as Naveen on Wednesday from Goa. There are about a dozen criminal cases against the accused. While giving the information a spokesman of Haryana Police said that the accused was arrested by the Special Team of Detective Staff of Rohtak Police from Goa on the basis of special input that they received. The accused, Naveen, a resident of Sunaria village in Rohtak, was absconding in a number of criminal cases including murder, robbery, threatening to kill and assault. During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that accused Naveen had kept a photostat shop in his house.
His brothers Pankaj Budvar and Praveen Budvar alias Tinku, for separate cases, are sent to judicial custody. Accused Pankaj has been involved in a murderous attack on retired police officer Mr. Hukam Singh. The accused will be produced in court and taken into police custody. Other cases are expected to be disclosed during the interrogation to be done during the custody period.
