Haryana Police has seized 490 cases of liquor that was being smuggled on forged defence canteen papers by a container truck in Mahendergarh district. The CIA team of Narnaul received a tip-off that liquor is being smuggled in a container from Punjab to Gujarat. Based on the specific intelligence, the police team started checking by establishing blockade on 152D Highway. After some time, a container was seen coming from Dadri side which was signaled by the police to stop. When the vehicle was searched, a huge quantity of different types of liquor packed in cardboard boxes was recovered. The apprehended accused driver has been identified as Salimkhan, a resident of district Palwal.
