NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has told the Delhi Police to make sure that drivers belonging to app based cab agencies Ola and Uber are safe after the court noticed that there inciodents of violence against them. The court told the two driver unions that, “You cannot demand anything from plaintiffs but only by peaceful commercial negotiations and you ned to change your thinking’’. Justice Rajiv Sahai told either “Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) or any other officer of equal rank nominated by Commissioner of Police to look in to the issue and ensure that drivers and owners having contract with plaintiffs (Ola and Uber) and wanting to ply are not stopped or blocked from plying and that their vehicles are not damaged”.]]>
