Ernakulam: Under the collaboration between Rajagiri Hospital and rural district police, a health and safety plan is being developed. To kickstart the project, a medical camp was organized at the district police headquarters where health scheme cards were distributed. These cards offer various benefits, including discounts, to police officers who present both the health scheme card and their police ID card during registration at Rajagiri Hospital. The inauguration of the project took place with the presence of District Police Chief Mr. Vivek Kumar and Rajagiri Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Sunny P Orathal. During the medical camp, examinations were carried out in departments such as Ortho, Cardiac, Gastro, and General Medicine, led by Dr. Mathew John, R. Anand, Srilakshmi, and Ansari.
