Himachal Pradesh: The Himachal Pradesh Police said that in the wake of the threat of COVID-19 curfew has been notified in the state of Himachal Pradesh from 5 pm on 24.3.2020 with certain exceptions. All are requested to comply with the curfew restrictions and stay indoors. Relaxation in curfew restrictions will be notified to procure essential supplies. Please do not form large crowds at the stores of essential supplies during the relaxation period.
The Himachal Pradesh Police appreciate the encouraging response to all citizens so far, during the statewide lockdown and curfew in certain areas. However, few elements failed to comply with the restrictions as a result of which 43 criminal cases have been registered against them in the state.
It is reiterated that the Himachal Pradesh Police does not intend to take any coercive action unless warranted.
The Himachal Pradesh Police would once again exhort all to comply with the curfew restrictions and help in making our state and country safe from COVID-19.
