Rachakonda: In a heartening display of solidarity, the personnel from six police stations in Malkajgiri, including Uppal, Malkajigiri, Medipalli, Nacharam, Ghatkesar, and Pocharam, rallied together to support the family of Home Guard Ramu. Ramu, who had dedicated 11 years of service at the Malkajgiri ACP office under the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, tragically suffered a sudden stroke and passed away.
The compassionate gesture saw these officers contributing Rs 10 lakh from their own salaries to aid the Home Guard’s bereaved family. Commissioner DS Chauhan IPS of Rachakonda extended additional financial assistance and committed to ensuring the education of Ramu’s three daughters. He affirmed the commitment to the welfare of all police personnel under the Rachakonda jurisdiction. The Commissioner commended the colleagues for their compassionate response in assisting the Home Guard’s family. The program was attended by Malkajgiri In-charge DCP Giridhar, Additional DCP Venkataramana, ACP Naresh Reddy, and Inspector.
