Kakinada: On 25th May 2023, a significant face-to-face program was organized by Mr. S. Satish Kumar, IPS, the esteemed Kakinada District SP, at the Police Kalyana Mandapam located within the District Police Office premises. The purpose of this program was to directly address and alleviate the grievances faced by the dedicated home guards serving in the Kakinada district.
During the afternoon session, Mr. S. Satish Kumar, IPS, took the opportunity to emphasize the unwavering support and assistance provided by the police department to home guards facing various health issues. Recognizing their invaluable service and sacrifices, the department has undertaken the responsibility of offering compassionate appointments to the family members of home guards who tragically lost their lives while bravely serving the community.
Moreover, the District SP expressed the firm commitment of the police department towards ensuring the holistic welfare of home guards and their families. Specifically, he highlighted the department’s dedication to supporting the educational needs of the home guards’ children. In pursuit of this objective, the police department stands ready to extend any necessary aid, recognizing the importance of education in shaping a bright future for their offspring.
In order to establish direct lines of communication and provide timely solutions, Mr. S. Satish Kumar, IPS, made a reassuring announcement. He invited home guards facing any challenges or difficulties to personally visit him at the district police office every Monday at 04:30 pm. By doing so, home guards can engage in confidential conversations with the District SP himself, enabling a thorough understanding of their problems and facilitating the prompt implementation of suitable resolutions.
